 Sunday Worship

All are welcome at our worship service every Sunday at 11 am.  On the third Sunday of the month (and several other Sundays and holy days throughout the year), Pastor Lena Warren celebrates Holy Eucharist. We also celebrate Holy Eucharist on Sundays when a visiting pastor is available. On other Sundays we celebrate the Service of the Word, which includes the full Lutheran service minus Holy Communion and is led by a member of the congregation. Our Music Director, Kathy Brink, leads the congregation in singing a wide range of traditional and contemporary hymns and invites members of the congregation to drum with the final hymn.

Interfaith Vigil for Peace

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, St. Peter’s has invited the community to join us on Thursday evenings to pray for peace. Originally focused on the war in Ukraine, this vigil has become an Interfaith Vigil for Peace, recognizing the many areas of the world in conflict, from the Ukraine to Gaza, Sudan, Haiti and other areas. This short prayer service includes brief readings from the Old and New Testaments, the Prayer of St. Francis, and other prayers and litanies developed by congregations in areas experiencing violence and oppression.

Four-part series on Thursdays beginning October 9, 2025

Reclaiming Faith:
A Journey of Restoration

How are we going to be faithful responders, faithful children of God in this moment when each day we experience a divided country and decisions being made that challenge our fundamental Christian values?

On Thursdays at 6:15 pm, after our Vigil for Peace, we will come together to study, reflect and work together to reclaim our faith.  “Reclaiming Faith: A Journey of Restoration” is a four-part series that invites us to rediscover the liberating essence of the Gospel. Through the profound insights of José Humphreys, these four sessions guide us into a journey of decolonization, healing, and renewal—a path toward reclaiming a faith that liberates, restores, and fosters belonging.

Each session, led by Pastor Lena Warren, begins with a short film, followed by discussion.  To learn more click here.
